Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, but not necessarily an easy practice. Yin yoga works deeply into our body. It targets our deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles. Energetically, yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles.


Using movement, games, sharing, breath work and visualization, Kids Yoga demonstrates how to create an active, safe, and inclusive environment for kids and teens to counter the stress in their lives.

Yogalates is sometimes thought of as a fusion practice of "East meets West", it merges the ancient Indian practice of yoga with the Western German practice of Pilates. Yogalates combines the yogic focus on enhanced mind and body awareness, strength, stamina, flexibility and balance, with Pilates techniques to improve posture and create a strong, stable foundation for movement. It is excellent for flexibility, muscle toning, building strength and weight loss.

Restorative yoga is the centering of your breath and body. Aligning the physical and mental realms by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time with bouts of flowing  and/or  balance work throughout. It seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props, helping you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching. Allowing you to stimulate and relax your body simultaneously. Restorative yoga helps provide physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety.

Hatha Flow moves gently and allows for time to hold poses and focus on breath. The sequence includes centering and breathing at the start, then progresses through sun salutations, balance, and light abdominal work. The class is designed for all skill levels, and those newer to yoga are welcome, along with experienced practitioners.

This style of yoga provides poses that range from gentle to challenging, but done with stable, self-centering energy.  The pace of these classes is generally slower and emphasis is placed on safe alignment and the maintaining balance of the slow breathing. This style CAN vary tremendously in its speed, with some classes preferring long, silent periods of reflection and static holding during each pose, and others opting for a more fluid experience (with possible frequent bursts of energetic sequencing to raise energy). It is particularly well-suited to newer students, or for those who desire over-all deep concentration within their practice, most conducive to slowing down. Slow flow allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and create the time to go inward. Slow Vinyasa Yoga is a therapeutic dance of moving meditation.
